The PU lined fire hose has excellent performance and valued characteristics of both the rubber lined hoses and plastic lined hoses. Firstly, it has high strength and its tearing strength is the three times of natural rubber lined hoses. Secondly, it has better abrasion-resistance, which is 3 to 5 times of that of natural rubber lined hoses. Thirdly, it has better oil-resistance and has little affinity with un-mineral oil. It will be hardly corroded in the fuel. Fourthly, it has good climate resistance. It will never distort after it is used continually under high temperature of 80-90^oC or become fragile under the low temperature of 50 -70^oC. The PU lined fire hose produced by the imported equipment and material have advantages such as oil-resistance, circumnutate resistance, high pressure resistance, climate performance resistance and rot resistance. Moreover, it is lighter and can be used more convenient. Its unit weight is 40% (or more) lighter than that of natural rubber lined hoses. Now most fire companies begin to use PU lined fire hoses.
